The magical hidden switch auto knife has a blade made of 3CR13 stainless steel, which is equivalent to tool grade steel, but can be sharpened to an edge like a surgeons scalpel. Deploying the 3CR13 stainless steel, razor sharp blade can be done two ways. First, the blade can be unfolded by pulling the thumb stud, like any standard folding knife. The other mentioned deployment method is via the hidden release switchblade trigger. This hidden release switch is built into the knife handle and blends with the design.
